sharing my story

Hi All,

I am sharing my story tomorrow in the afternoon of the convention with AA and al anon present.  It will be the first time my partner (sober ABF) has heard my story.  The theme is hope and sobriety, today we have sobriety in our home life is not perfect but so much better.

It is thanks to both fellowships that I have hope.  My brain is trying to tell me everything I need to share tomorrow but I know I need to just pray before opening my mouth!!

I am scared yet I am looking forward to this service.  I want to give some background info but really hope to focus on my growth and how the programme is healing me.

I love this programme and feel so lucky to be part of the world wide fellowship.

I remember the pain and sometimes it returns but I fight it off with my al anon medicine.

to any newcomers plaese keep coming back it really does work you jusdt have to keep coming.

hugs tracy xxxx

Tracy: Thanks for the inspiration with your post and the encouragement to others you shared. Good luck tomorrow. What a fun thing to be doing as service work. I appreciate the uplifting and genuine share here.

You will be fine Tracey.  HP will guide your words and you will say what needs to be said .

Tracy, you'll do great.

I have spoken at many open meetings and one conference. Just speak from the heart and you're there to tell YOUR story, as you saw it.

It takes a lot of courage to speak. You should be very proud.

Say what it was like, what happened, and what it's like now. Good basic model to follow. You'll be great!
