Had to laugh....

I was at my physical therapy session and had the early good fortune of almost being one on one with my therapist which was cool.  She is a young doctor and good at what she does and I was expressing honest gratitude.  Over a bit of time others started to come into the place and I went from massage table to exercise area and one position found me sitting in a chair looking at the going on in the room with people moving this way and that and the conversations between therapist and client.  One of the guys in the room is a friend of mine and we have mutual interest and dedication with working with youth.  He was talking to the doctor and then looking at me which caught my attention and I started to laugh.  "I love this place and what going on here all over the place".  "I feels like I'm in a play ground".  He started to laugh also and looked around himself.  We are both from program and it felt soooo good and normal.   My back hurts and this is better.  Had to laugh and laughing is cool.    (((((hugs))))) smile

Being a rehab director for many years, I know exactly what you are speaking of. At times, I would just stand, take in the whole and feel gratitude for the people, the place and my experience in that moment.  Thank you for a bit of pleasant nostalgia.  Glad your back is better.

Thanks for the smile and positive images.

I do love when that happens and it all seems to come together in unity

Jerry: I loved the glimpse into this part of your life and the joy of laughter contained within it. Seems like a metaphor to me of what life can be for us - a playground - if we allow it. I can tend to take life and myself a little too seriously and rob myself of joy. Laughter, for me, truly is the best medicine when we can see what there is to see through eyes of acceptance and gratitude. Good share, Jerry. Thanks for my morning smile.

smile We spend a lot of time at the pool- as my SO works with her wrecked knee... at one time a had seven family members, of all ages coming and going, which was fun.

Now A*** has started taking her clients in there too, during the day [she is an occupational therapist].

The pool was a gift to the town when the valley was flooded. its a much nicer place than the pub!
