I had to use that step at work today... Lost my cool on my boss. Went for a brief walk to get my temper under control and then went into his office and promptly apologized. I wasn't wrong in my outburst... But I handled it inappropriately. He accepted my apology and told me he could clearly see where my frustration was coming from. Practice...practice...practice!!!
Ii find this Step to be very helpful in my day to day life. It keeps me focused on myself, and my behavior and ngives me the tools to correct myself as i go along.
