I love hearing about the origin of animal names; love pet names - how different they all are, how the names are so unique and seem to reflect the owners personalities and/or lives. I've got a smokie (cause she's grey, big stretch there) a Betsy the wonder dog (as in, I wonder where that dog is) and a Freddie the Freeloader, my ex-AH's cat. (the only good thing my daughter says he did was leave the cat when he left). Where I live there is a dog named Spot, a Blue Heeler named Bunny, a Sparky, Ebony, Faith and a Nemo. Thanks for the pictures John!

All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another! ~ Anatole France
What a fun picture to brighten up the foggy morning I have awakened to enter. Creative use of imagery and wording, John. Love it! Made me smile, then grin, let laugh. Got my faith juices moving. Laughter - to me - is faith expressing itself with a voice. Keep these coming!
lol John! um your animals look a little skinny! hahahaha! They actually look perfect. Says A LOT about you, how you care for them!
I am so so so glad Max looks sooo darn good. You gave your all for him.
I know it may sound strange, but I feel like when my animals love on me, it's God touching me. He made them be so overwhelming affectionate and we get to receive it!
love your family Sweetheart! debilyn
