grateful

Hi Everyone:

Just want to share some thoughts of gratefulness today:

Grateful for:

--this board, where I have read in others' posts descriptions of my own life, and have learned so much from all of you about the true nature of human strength

--my three kids, all thriving, beautiful, smart and perceptive

--my friends, some that I have had for over 30 yrs, who I know I can say anything to and am never judged; they're always ready to help

--my big Italian family, unconditional love (well the conditions are you do have to eat a lot); each one make sure to let you know how important you are

--my job, one that fuels my sense of purpose, one that surrounds me with understanding and caring colleagues

--thanks to my HP which I call God Who has provided me with all of the above and much more

Hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday and start to the week ahead

Yanksfan

I'm grateful for your post, Yanksfan! Starts the next part of my day off well. I do have one tiny, tiny request. Can I be adopted into your family. I love hearing they are unconditionally loving with one rule - to eat a lot. I'd be good there. I wouldn't give a minute's trouble. I would eat whatever was set before me. Grin.

Have a wonderful Sunday yourself, Yanksfan!

Wow, thank you for the reminder I was needing to make my own list of all that I have to be thankful for! Your list is awesome and I too am up for adoption at 35 years old, haha. Sending you much love and support!

not only would adoption not be a problem at all (one of my children is adopted from the Philippines and my niece adopted 5 of her children!) but there are so many of us anyway I highly doubt anyone 'extra' would even be noticed! haha the more the merrier! (and of course that means more food)smile
