Used to be I'd be promised she would come, but then would get a late afternoon call saying she wasn't coming after all because she had worked late and went out afterwards and was "too tired" to make the 2 hr drive.....
Today not even a call (she doesn't work anymore, so it's probably just the "went out" part that has her "too tired").
Oh, well, my sons called and my husband took me to a baseball game.
