One Step at a Time

Thank you all for your support.  We had our mediation today at the courthouse.  After much reflection, I was comfortable in my discomfort (regarding this type of conflict...or any conflict) that there would be nothing for us to mediate.  We were dealing with pride, greed and one angry man (former tenant).  Thanks to al anon, I "said what I meant, meant what I said and did not say it mean", which really pissed him off.  Of course, as expected, he is continuing with the process of feeding his perceived entitlements and scheduled a court date for next Wed.  Another chance for me to exercise my "don't back down from a bully" muscle.  I am satisfied that I took the right action.  We will see what happens next week.  Now, I will make a quesadilla and enoy the sunshine as best I can...this is when I can obsess; but I will stop any damaging thoughts.  We had some posts on obsessing within the last few days as I recall.
