My sponsor has ear trouble, lost some of her hearing & is just over 40. I really feel for her. She went to the doctor today & has been diagnosed. I think that it will ge better---I hope so. It looks like she has a tumor. I hope there is no cancer. She is one of the most special women in my life. I don't know how she is coping. I have seen a smile lately but I am sure it hurts! So, please lift her up today! I am so glad that we have a massive support system on here. I have been prayed for many times.
Also, thanks for the feedback on my financial situation--no matter what I am getting the surgery. My eyes are more important than anything to me. I know my DAD would have wanted me to take care of my health & get my eyes fixed. His inheritance to us is not just for trips to Disneyland & such. That is what some of my family members think they can just have a good time & that is it! I guess a vacation is in order in the happiest place on earth! So, I am doing what I think is necessary while they have fun!
I will keep you all posted on the progress & recovery of my dear sponsor. She has about 12 years in the program & is using her tools to handle the worst!
Sorry that your sponsor is ill Kathleen. I hope she is ok. I will say a prayer.
I think your dad would be delighted that you are getting your eyes fixed. When my mum died my family took a holiday in her honour. I know she would have been happy about that.x
