Life after the A

My life has been crazy busy going to college full time, working every weekend and raising my 2 girls all alone, although I do have a couple great friends that help me with running our kids one way and I do the other, I have accepted it is on me to do all that I can to raise my girls to the best of my abilities. I have extra energy now that I don't feel the constant chaos and misery and the extra mental energy always worrying and wondering walking on eggshells. He is doing whatever he is doing and I have my hands completly off of him and his life for the first time in 17 years. I am happy, funny, more relaxed and people who knew me have seen my obsessive nature getting much better with time and practice with my al-anon program. I am better at practicing self care and enjoying the simple things in life and even find time in my hectic life to make sure my daughters and I do cheap fun things regularly. I am fully on the system at this point, which is the only way to get myself fully self supporting in the next 2+ years and I have accepted it because I need it to get to my goals. My life is now so much more than I ever imagined and God (my HP) fully has me in his hands. I am growing and moving forward faster and healthier than ever before and without al-anon, my sponsor and diligence in my program this would not be possible.  Thank you all for your continued support, I come to MIP often just to read and keep myself in the zone and am sorry I don't get to contribute as much as I once did. I am sending you all love and support on your journey's.

Awesome share, Breakingfree. So glad to see you all are doing well and moving forward with life and using your program. I do hope you'll check in from time to time, though, and offer your ESH. Miss seeing you around, of course! HUGS!
