I have just enjoyed my favourite walk in the mountains, starting near a shower of snow melt and passing through a narrow gorge where the river was tumbling in full flow.  As the path climbed higher the mountain mists wrapped the wise old beech trees and when I reached the highest point of the path, where a hermit has spent twenty years building a small chapel, the clouds parted for a brief moment to reveal the snow capped peaks and a patch of the blue skies that crown this magical spot.  

I feel cleansed by that fast flowing water, nurtured by those wise old trees and inspired by those craggy mountain tops.  Such a beautiful day, it would be a shame not to share it
