Yeah for those who know this: this is definitely lyrics to a song! I am so grateful for the good days & promise of a bright future. I really have nothing to complain about today! I can wear my shades even when the sun isn't out: optimism! I hope that everyone who reads this will find hope & some inspirtation today whether you have an alcoholic who is drinking or sober. Yes, the world doesn't revolve around the alcholic but they sure can put a hammer on some days! I have read some of your posts lately & find a lot of promise in everyone. I have a special family in all of you. I appreciate any comments or thoughts on what I post. I have said this many times before. I need you all. I don't have as many meetings to go to during the week. I try to get to as many meetings as I can even if I have to travel 60 miles one way.
I have so much to say about recovery. Without recovery in Alanon I am lost. Yes, I have a HP that I can count on now. I feel the presence daily. I choose to call HP God but I know that not everyone has a HP yet & some have questions about this when they are new. If you are new, Keep an open mind. I know that some meetings are not for everybody. If you need more help, if you are here for the first time or have been on here for a short time, we are here for you.
I am still hopeful for all & hope you will find help like I have.
