Hi Vickie...Welcome. To your question all you need to do is take yourself, everybody in that room will have had to do what your doing which is walk in the room. You will find that when a new person goes to their first meeting people will fall over themselves to be of service to you, to explain and support you. Nothing is expected of you, if you dont want to share you dont have to. You will find a very warm welcome. Remember we have all been new to a group and have felt nervous, scared etc. You dont need to have any books, you can usually buy one after the meeting if you want to again its not expected, and if there is any readings they will provide you with the book the group use for meeting purposes.

Good Luck and let us know how you get on.

In support

Simone x

Hi Vickie

Welcome to MIP....glad your here. Like Zimmy said Just take yourself....your seat will be waiting. I would add you will get some very helpful literature and phone numbers of members that you can call. No pen or paper needed :)

Take care and let us know how it go's.

Cathy
