Hello!
I am looking for an online Alanon sponsor to do my steps with. Since I am residing currently in the country where there are no active Alanon meetings available, online meetings would be my only source, Skype chats possible with sponsor.
I have separated from my abusive AH but having tough time getting over resentment because of the massive abuse.

I think maybe the thing to do is to start attending meetings online here and get a sense for how it all works and who might be the kind of sponsor who could help you. That's what people generally do at Al-Anon meetings. The people I have known have asked specific people if they could sponsor them, rather than saying generally "I need a sponsor." For one thing that way, just asking generally for a sponsor, you could end up with someone who's on a different wavelength or who wouldn't be right for you. The saying is to look for someone who "has what you want." I really don't know how online sponsorship works or how often it's done, but those are my thoughts.
Pinnu I belong to a few alanon groups on facebook. There are private ones available where you need to friend someone to be accepted into the group. One of them has a list made up of people who are willing to sponsor others. That may be another source for you.
