I did not get to open the envelopes, he would not let me as he was at work. He just got home about an hour ago and we opened them together, he got a scholarship for $44,000 as well!! I am so happy. He is such an amazing kid. He has held down a 3.98 gpa through his high school career as well as doing advanced placement classes earning college credits. I am so incredibly proud of him. No one in my family has gone on to college. His dad did not even graduate from high school. This kid is going to go places in life and I could not be more proud of him than I am today.

I just had to share my good news. My oldest son who graduates this year got accepted at his top pick university. I am so incredibly proud of him. Its nice to get good news. He works so hard and has maintained some awesome grades. I could not be prouder. Ok, enough parental bragging.
