My husband as in rehab last week after being self admitted. He got out Friday, we went to an AA meeting, meeting saturday and then he went on his own sunday. he has a 15 day permit after a DUI. I went to work yesterday - left him his truck and no money. He had a rough morning and pawned something to get money... and drank like crazy. It was an awful night. I dont know what to do next. I took the day off but as the only money maker - I have to go - I just dont know what's next.
Welcome and I hope you will keep coming back. Please find a meeting in your area, the best thing I can tell you outside of that is the 3 C's .. you didn't cause it, you won't control it, and you can't cure it.
I fully understand your frustration, and helplessness. The reality is you really do have more choices than you realize, it takes time to clear away the wreckage and chaos of the damage that alcoholism causes.
There is hope, there are choices.
Hugs P :)
