13 is my lucky number and this year just happens to be 2013!

I am truly excited about this year for the first time in a long time. I feel new and fresh about my life and where it is headed. I am in nursing school and will graduate in 2014 and I feel like I am finally living up to my potential and not afraid to test myself. I feel like I have scraped off enough layers of my survival mechanisms from my youth to honestly be able to live life out of my own way and listening to God's gentle steering. I am willing to see what 2013 has in store for me with hands, eyes and ears wide open. I have never felt so spiritually in tuned and loving towards myself and other, as well my gratitude list is ginormous! I so look forward to this New Year and all the lessons I will experience on this journey! I found Al-anon 2 years ago and it has helped me grow into a new person with a great new attitude. I found MIP in February almost 2 years ago and consider you all my al-anon family. I am so glad to be sharing this journey with you all. I look forward to a fresh new year for us all. Here's to changing the things we can and knowing the difference in 2013. Sending you all love, strength, wisdom, support and serenity on your journey's!
