I woke up today and the first thing on my mind was Al Anon meeting! Success! I went online this morning and attended. It was very freeing listening and engaging in conversation without any judgement. Awesome!
My S/O got up today and actually made breakfast! Yes it was nice. We all went to the library today, the girls enjoy being out, picking movies, getting some books. There were a few times S/O got testy. I just didn't let it get to me. Nothing was going to interfere with this perfect peace I am having today! Seriously considering the last three days, where I was. I am proud of myself, I am proud of my girls we are having wonderful day regardless of how anything else is. We are choosing to live and create our own joy. <3
You know it's funny with our person who has the addiction/addictive behaviours...you could be having a bliss one moment and 10 seconds later someone flicks the switch and it all goes south (in a split second). Like being in a car accident ..you don't even have time to process it. Just moment of impact (emotonally). We need to live regardless of how they behave or react. Steady as a ship in ocean <3
I am learning that if I feel like I'm sinking...run (not walk!) to the near Al Anon (friends, sponsor, meeting).

That's the worst part about it. The constant anxiety of knowing things can and will go to hell at any second. I hope I can learn to live in spite of it the way you seem to be doing.
MadMax...one day at a time ok? That is how I am living. Second by second. Keeping myself intact and constantly as we heard today in the Al Anon meaning,"Turn it over." We have to. I welcome you Max...:)
