Prayers for a safe trip

My mom is coming to town and I'm very excited, a little nervous and just very excited.  We had such a great visit the last time I'm hoping we have a similar experience. 

The kids are excited.  She will be here for 10 days.  My hormones are in check woo hoo .. lol .. God is good .. I was a little worried about that, not anymore so that's a way good thing!!  Hormones and anything for me is so not a fun thing. 

I will be driving 2 1/2 hours today to pick her up from the airport and we will head home it should be a lovely drive.  I'm kind of wondering if I can stop off in a town some place and get out stretch our legs a bit. 

Anyway, prayers for a safe trip and a great visit!!  I have missed my mom a great deal,  and for me to say that is a true testiment of the power of the alanon program and how it has changed my life.

Well it was a great drive and now of course I"m up and early today. It was a busy day yesterday. It will be busy today too at least though it will be relaxing and just able to take things as they come.

I really enjoy that drive it's pretty much a straight shot it's always nice to go into a big city and see what's going on. I remember why I don't live in a big city as well .. lol. The drive made me feel a little sentimental as far as what our family used to do together and specifically what my AH and I used to do and how much fun we had.

It was such a glorious day though .. my mom made it in just fine. There was a delay because of the awful happenings in TX the other day. Not to bad!!

Anyway, looking way forward to it all!!!
