information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal

I wanted to let you all know about a FREE app I made for smart phones, tablets etc., both Apple devices and Android based devices.
It's an Al-Anon App that has daily sharings from The Forum, Al-anon's monthly magazine, a daily reflection and daily quote.

I made the app as part of my service work, trying to give back to a program that saved my life. The site the app is on also has a wealth of Al-Anon info and an extnesive audio page where you can listen to or download both Al-Anon and AA speakers and workshops.

Pass the app/website on to your home groups and recovery friends.
Just so folks know I am only using sharings from The Forum that are authorized by WSO for reprint begining in 1997. I am building a database from Froums from a local memebr who has them going back to 1997. 97 is the year The Forum started authorizing reprints of selected sharing from each issue.
Al-Anon is an important part of my daily life and givng back is something that is very importatnt to me.

The only thing I would change is the icon and icon title...on my phone it says BRAFG with the default Sprint Android icon and it took me a minute to realize what it was.
It's great though, I use it every day!

Joined Al Anon in October 2013 in West Des Moines, Iowa and found myself wishing there was an app where I could pull up the slogans and daily reminders. I googled and found your app online. I've only had it for 2 days and am already love it! It's more discrete than pulling out my books at work. Please keep this going!
Is there a way to see a sample of the Daily Share/Quote-I don't want full readings on my phone daily-(I do subscribe to Daily Readings group/pages on FB) But I would love to get a couple more of the Al-Anon ones. :)

Thank you for your service work and for your sensitivity to copyright protection of Al-Anon. That is Al-Anon progress right there! From the responses, it is obvious that your service work doing for others what they can't do in the way of making an app as you have done and appreciating the gift that you and your HP offer.
