No, he didn't call...didn't text. And I honestly don't care. Grateful, actually. I worked from home today while my daughter & son played quietly in their rooms. I'M FREE!!!! My daughter & I had a slumber party last night...we all went toy shopping after work...and there was no negative jerk to come home to...no meanness....no jabs...no complaining that I bought toys and he has no money (and no job for 4 years ). I'M FREE!!!! Tonight after my kids are out of the bath & done playing with toys, we're all climbing into my bed with games and popcorn. No espn coming from every corner of my home. No craziness. Just Peace. I'M FREE!!!!
You sound so happy : ) i bet your kids are happy as well...sounds like a fun night, enjoy...isnt it nice to have fun and just enjoy the days and nights and feel as you do...good for you !!
I remember the elation that came with realising I was no longer trapped. Keep working your program and taking care of yourself. Sending you love and support!

I completely understand your feelings of happiness. I have been out for 2 weeks now and am the most content I've been in years. The interaction with the child and the not worrying about what mood you are coming home to lifts so much weight.
The peace that came to me when I finally let go of my illusions of reeality and let go of my exAH came back with a flash when I read your post the other day. I was still thinking of your post this morning when one of my beasties dug in the trash leaving a couple big round eggshells on the kitchen floor. Normally I would have just cleaned it up and pointlessly scolded him for the trash digging ... but today my beastie was surprised when I looked at his furry face with a plastic wrapper hanging out his mouth and smiled when I stomped and squashed those eggshells. Thank you for reminding me
