googled my name

and it led straight to this site.

Few other things first, a couple of them me, a couple not me.

I understand that I can't change the name so I will be deleting this profile and starting a new one.

See you all soon in a new name.

I don't know how it got to be my real name, I am not good with computers and stuff and I just put my name in where it asked etc origianally.... It was not intentional, once it was there I didn't really care much.

But I do care now.

I will get a new name and come back.  Thanks

I did the same thing several months ago and came back with this nickname and didn't use my real name in registering.

For what it's worth, Linda, I googled your name (in response to this thread, not because I am nosy!) and I got three pages of references to a nurse in California and someone on a California sports team (maybe the same person as the nurse).  Maybe it depends on where you're googling from.  Most people wouldn't search through more than three confusing pages.  I think you're wise to choose another name for the site, but also you may not be as exposed as it initially looked like, at least not to many people in the world.

For anyone worried about safety...be careful about how much info you put in your bio, too. I never filled one out for that reason...
