Hey guys!

I am sorry I have been absent for a while. I kind of closed myself off for the past 2 months. I am back at the hospital working. I thought I was better after my alanon retreat in the mountains and maybe I was. I did let go of a lot of anger and resentments while I was there. I went to my first alanon meeting without RLC and I broke down I couldnt breathe. I could feel him in every page with every word that was read. I miss him still. People don't get it or understand why I grieved for so long. He was my spiritual guidance and my alanon mentour and my rock. I am getting better one day at a time but I still ache for my friend.

(((MDK))) Good for you getting on with your life.  That is a recovery success marker.  Rod continues to bring smiles and gratitudes.  I don't grieve losses that left me with more than what they came with.  He left his spirit.  Keep coming back girl.  In support (((((hugs))))) smile

Welcome back, grief is in your own time kind of a thing. It's better to feel it than stuff it.

Good to see you!!

Hugs P :)

I lost my dad in December and I totally understand the grief thing, it's different for everybody. Take your time, be gentle on yourself, and welcome back, too!
