**snickering at what the subject line had you thinking...lol, I'm rotten
While I was driving today alone, I had the opportunity for a little thought. I suppose my thought process came around from thinking about baby steps. Here's where it led me.
When I walked through the doors of Alanon, I felt empty and needed to be filled with knowledge, kind of like a newborn.
At 3 months, I found I could smile. At 6 months, I was able to sit up, mostly without falling back. At 9 months, I was able to stand while holding on to something. At 12 months, I should be able to really understand and walk the walk while holding on to an Alanon hand.
Love you all, Christy

Oh you got my attention, huh....LOL your right though, it is all about growing just like a newborn, learning all over again, but learning the right way to do things...Thanks for sharing.
Ya gotta quit shoulding all over yourself chrissy, at 1 yr you should be able to walk the walk ??? hmmmmmm takes along time. Took me a yr to gt my head cleared out enough to read more than the one linners I love so much . hehe Keep commin and remove the words shoulda coulda and what if ? from your vocabulary . Louise
That's why at one year I'll still need to be holding another Alanoners hand. I can understand the walk, with guidence. But ya know, I had to condense all that..lol

As others, this certainly got my attention,,,,thinking,,ok now what? LOL,,good on you. Excellent way to give an analagy for the steps, and honestly how true! Breaking it down to this can really make a person see his or her own progress. Awesome & thanks.........gardengal
