level.
Aloha All...I've started or restarted reading some of the AFG literature that my wife and I have in our Library and pulled the Titled book into first place. I decided to mention it here as the "...Making Crises Work for You" part of the title is the focus. It is written from/with Al-Anon members' shares so it comes from the ESH of the program from 1990 with a reprint in 2005. It speaks to crises of all manner in alcoholism. I find it very supportive even after I have survived crises myself from within our recovery program.
The book is widely read and printed in English, Finnish, French, Italian and Spanish...we are not alone. ((((hugs)))) Happy day after.
I love this book Jerry, it really does put a different light on situations. It also is a great reminder that there is hope after crisis, this too shall pass.
Hugs P :)

This is one of the first Al-Anon books I read after coming into the program. It was very helpful. There is a line in the Introduction of this book that states, "Long-time members as well as newcomers can face infidelity, illness, violence, divorce, death, incest and a host of other trying situations."
After 20 years in this program, I am here to say that I have been confronted with each of these situations and been able to deal with it, only because of the support of my Al-Anon family. This book was one of just many Al-Anon tools I have used to make it through.
