Tonight when I got home I noticed AH had only drank 9 beers and 1/2 a bottle of wine. My first thought: "Wow, its a light drinking night."

Yeah, I know. But, most nights it is 12-24 beers plus whatever he is hiding or whatever he drank before he got home.

I had to laugh at the fact that I live in a world where 9 beers and 1/2 a bottle of wine is a light night. smile

My life goes on as usual regardless of what AH does. Though, sometimes I do pause and laugh because it feels better than crying.

Hugs VVT,

It's ironic what we get used to and what seems below the norm isn't it? :) I'm glad you can finid the humor because it is what gets me through different situations in my own life. Even the warped humor, it does a body good to laugh regardless of the situation.

i can never understand the beer thing myself...surely the strongest spirits would do the job quicker.

Yeah...I got over the beer thing myself for that very reason. I was downing vodka only for the last decade of my active drinking.
