Singing the praises of sponsors

It's such a new concept for me to reach out to someone to help me think through something. It feels so foreign for me to talk to someone before I react.

When I take the extra time to work my program, WOW what a difference.

I have a big action that I felt it is time to take. My sponsor didn't tell me what I could or couldn't do. She shared with me what did and didn't work in her situation and reminded me that taking someone else's inventory does no one any good. She helped me frame the action in the best possible way.

It's humbling to admit that I need help and that I don't always know everything. I don't have all the answers.

Once again, I am so thankful for my sponsor who lives the program and helps me live it too.

I couldnt agree with you more.  My sponsor has saved my butt so many times.  They are worth their weight in platinum.

I have an old spicy, wise, and oh so informative sponsor that has helped me immensly on my recovery journey so much!!! I can't believe she comes free and is always so happy to see me and listen to me. It is amazing isn't it! Today she wore a t-shirt that had a curse word on it about the weather and I had to laugh and laugh about this, she never ceases to shock me since she was a Pastor's wife and elderly. I just love my sponsor more than I could describe and she keeps me entertained too.
