My cat was all up in my grill this morning. She headbutts me to feed her, pet her...she is so clingy. I told her she needed to go to a CODA meeting. I also told her "I'm going to sleep or not sleep what are you gonna do?" It didn't really work.
So much for 12 step principles for cats.
(levity-I have started too many controversial posts lately lol)

That's cute; thank goodness for our four legged friends who always manage to provide some much needed humor in the midst of all this heavy stuff. I hope she finally let you get some shut eye.
LOL .. PC ... All I can say is I can relate!! How about we get your cat and my cat together and let them have their own meeting. I need some space!! :)
Mine won't let me go to the bathroom alone, socks are dragged out when I leave the house she will meow like crazy if I leave even when other people are home. She won't go sleep with anyone else in the house that means cat is on the chair until I go to bed and follows me in. I love her dearly however she's driving me crazy I think some of it is the other cats and the weather. I'm about cat lady out!!
Hugs P :)

Tremendously funny post. I have two cats just like that. Thanks for the topic Mark and for everyones contributions. I do so enjoy laughing each and every day.
My cat gets in my face and gets yowly at night, but I have the perfect thing a toddler. My 3 year old can make the cat disappear and leave me alone in 1 second flat. Sad I know, but sometimes it's funny watching the show. She never hurts him just wants to love on him and he isn't always game.

As stated in the opening of Al-Anon meetings: Without help living with an A-cat is to much for most of us......That's one reason I have two black labs.
pink chip- ah- poor kitty witty.....12 steps for cats- step one "get off your bum and contribute!" step 2, " get off your bum" step 3 "dont sleep so much. step 4 "stop living off of other people- open up your own cat food for a change",, steps 5 to 12 are the same "stop being lazy"
We've had other members who's cats use to drag dead squirrels into the house and such, seemingly to gain affirmations. I don't do cats at all...twas a huge enabling thing for me with the first addict. I use to do Power and Control events with her Persian and that cat almost destroyed a portion of our house including tear up wallboard and break windows. I believe that cats should have their own meetings also. Lots of meetings. LOL ((hugs))
