Wow

I got some money and went to Amazon to get some more books like the daily affirmations etc.  $20 for three books is great.. then comes the shipping...

$40 to get three books to Australia!!!!

Most don't post overseas that I find, especially the cheaper second hand options.  oh well.. another $60... I hope they are good.

I did have a fourth book but it was going to be $80 all up for the four of them.

Having difficulty finding them anywhere other than America and Amazon.... Still I suppose $20 a book isn't bad, its just such a shame when the books themselves are like only $5....

No postage charged and I searched for and ordered a book which came within a month.

Abebooks.com, which is for used books, has a thing where you can specify sellers only from a certain country.  I've gotten a lot of my books that way.  Hope that helps!

If you just did it on amazon and it hasn't shipped you can go into your account and cancel! If they are helpful you are more than worth the money any minute of the day!!!!!

I didn't know you were in Austraia.  Don't you have some good book stores there that you can order stuff from?

Also, I would venture to say that you probably have an alanon business office in each of the seven territories.   You can buy any conference approved literature there as well.

they are shipped by the time I got these messages.

 

I got the daily affirmations for ACoA and two 'other' ACoA books.  I really feel I have to concentrate on that side of things before I can really figure out what to do with my marriage.  they are so closely alligned though aren't they.
