Well, it seems like grandma had a TIA and has started recovering from it. It's a situation that to have it confirmed she would have to have testing at the hospital done and moving her at this point is not going to yield good results.
She has been eating a little. I'm taking it more of one day at a time. I can tell it's brought my mom some relief. At least she's prepared I think mentally that things are winding down for Grandma. At least I'm hearing in my mom's voice she's not fighting everyone at the nursing home like she was about what is being done and not being done. Grandma is on hospic and will be until otherwise specified.

(((Pushka))), Thanks for keeping us posted. At the risk of sounding ignorant, what is a TIA? Sounds like your mom is accepting the situation which is a good thing. One day at a time is probably the best way to deal with this. I continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.
Pineapple, I'm straight up don't know the exact term. Basically it's a mini stroke. The effects are not long term usually. She had lost her ability to speak and use of her left side. Shes not speaking in full sentences she is using longer one word statements. Shes swallowing again although she is still struggling. Something is better than nothing.

((((Pushka)))) those are transient ischemic attacks TIAs are mini-strokes that usually last a short time and don't leave pemanent damage. I have had the privilege of a couple with HP being the attending Doc. First one was the worse with the sagging face muscles and drooling with the memory tripping and the focus more near constant ADD symptoms. The last one was not too long ago and it lasted and diminished just after a few days. Scary? some...HP is the Doc for me and so far they haven't gotten worse.

Thank God for your Grndmother, Pushka. Glad to know she is doing better. I can imagine how relieved you and your mother are at this point. There is a God that protect us all. Bless you.
