Another funny lesson in humility....

Just was reminded by another MIP member that I had not yet shared here what I shared on the other board the other day...After a buncha us guys and gals got together to console ourselves about the passing of my friend Leonard F I got a Facebook and more from others that LEONARD WAS ALIVE!!  Visions of the man walking on water dissipated into...Jerry F you exercised faith that what someone else was telling you was the truth without further discovery...Since then several more recovery members have come forward to clean the windows and I'm gonna call him shortly.  I'm going to listen and ask him if he feels light headed for all of the prayers that were offered to him and his wife.   LOL...  I'm open minded so however he responds will be gracious and loving...that's just like him.  So Leonard is still in the meeting....seems it was I who was outside.    (((((hugs))))) smile

LOL .. hey brother from another mother :) I used to work at a funeral home (receptionist) it warped me further than I already was, and gave me something I had been missing in my life, it opened my eyes to the idea of compassion. I have to say there were times we would laugh and laugh just because there was nothing left to do. You had to find the laughter based upon the some of the situations of sadness. It was never at a family it was always something that was happening within our wall though. We did some seriously crazy stuff like writing each other eulogies, silly stuff :) Things that helped us deal with the sadder stories.

I think you should based upon what you shared he'd get a kick out of it. :) Didn't you know everything you read on the internet is not true?? :)P
