information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal

I just signed up and made travel arrangements for an AA & Alanon mountain conference near the end of summer. I live in a large metropolitan city and have been so privileged to have attended many weekend local conferences for both programs that are just wonderful.
This is my first time being away for nearly a week by myself in many years. I am so very thrilled to have the opportunity to go. Although my dear friend had to cancel her plans with me to attend this year, I decided I really wanted to go, albeit alone. I decided my HP would have to look after the details and take care of the results. I asked Him to keep me safe and find good company when I get there. I am sure I will find familar faces from my home city and state when I arrive.
I am so very grateful to have the opportunity to meet other members of both programs from across the U.S. Wish me luck.

I think my sponsor and a couple of her other sponsees are going to the mountain conference at the end of the summer. I'm jealous and wish I could go! I know you guys will have fun and will learn so, so much. :)
