I'm pretty sure that it means you will get an email if someone posts on a topic you have subscribed to. When you make a post there is a little box you can check or at the top of the page there is a "subscribe" button under "start a new topic" and "reply"
Hi:) I think what you're referring to is the subscribe button u see at the top of a post. If u click that button, u are then subscribed to that post meaning you'll receive email notifications whenever someone replies to that post. Kinda like you are "tracking" it. Hope that helps!
