Please check in! I've been reading about the tornadoes in the southern states and all of the damage and deaths they have caused. Please let us know you're OK.
OK here on the Gulf Coast, although was wringing my hands yesterday as my son made the 11 hr trip from here to St. Louis. He must have an angel on his shoulder. Tornados were all around him.
Saying a prayer for all the lives lost in 5 states and also those affected. Last I knew the death toll was 178.

Thanks for your concern. We were very fortunite the same super cell tornado that destroyed Tuscaloosa and North Birmingham (we are 50 NE of B'ham) and stayed on the ground for over 150 miles came within a couple of miles of our home in Rainbow City. It's path was over a mile wide. We had no damage. Only lost of power. We have much to be thankful for. Even with all the advanced warning and wall to wall coverage hundreds of people lost their lives. The destruction is massive state wide. Please keep the families of those who lost their homes, all their belongings, and those who love ones in your prayers.
Ahhhh good news!! Powerless over the weather up in your areas even when watching the national weather news and praying for you all. Rod...that was close and that is good cause watching the weather channel and the thermal map you should be somewhere just outside of OZ by now. Thank God for all blessings!! (((hugs)))
