HI! Fell like I have been gone forever!

It is BLUE sky absolutely beautiful up here! The moss on the trees looks so pretty in the sun. I have birds yelling at me from crows to stellars jays to get the dogs out of here. lol I do have lots of just bird areas I put food out.

The river is almost azure again. I could not have done this without all I learned here at MIP, is home, no question.

The first morn I was up at dawn. brrrrr started a great fire, thru a pink sweatshirt over my pink print nightgown,in my ugy but wool slippers,did not comb my all over the place curly hair.I grabbed my needle nosed pliars and finished the fence. Found places the guys did not realize where houdini dog would find in 2 seconds. 

As I am working looking like a poor Russian lady the gate did not latch...I didn't know it didn't but Sauvey did....next thing I know my "friendly" NOT one neighbor at leaste 1000' away is standing there telling me he does not want dogs in his yard.huh? I apologized and said we are working hard on the fence and soon it will be electric too. First day for petes sake.

No, "hey my name is ,,,,,welcome but your dogs are out!" Just a blah nothing. OH well, his problem.,then he says you have too many dogs. I ignored him, I don't want to argue well I won't.Thats his opinion. He should be glad I didn't bring my pot pigs and roosters!I will go over as soon as I am not exausted and intro myself and be nice.

Al Anon showed me how not to argue....just keep my cool and ignore what is bolony and say, yes we all have our own opinions. but I find it so wierd for someone to say something like that. I could have said, yes and you should not live alone....

Just gotta put my cloths away. Kitchen is all clear cept for dishes.

My cat winnie rode here in a pillow case lol! Ever since she was 8 weeks old she has "helped" me make my bed so it was nothing to her to be in there., lol I had her at my feet in the car,. She just slept. She popped out and was so excited, she LOVES it! She has gone out a tiny bit to the deck.

Oh my bed is heaven, woodstove is great. Palm oh yea with my car packed then the bedding then 6 dogs I had to bring my big palm! I stuck the pot in back with it along the left side of me,. I swear we were a dog sardine can. People got a kick out of it! I have a little car! sunfire.

Anyway the palm is perfect in front of my 8 foot tall antique mirror.

No satellite yet but watching netflix and stuff on this laptop is cool! As u can tell I am still getting used to it.I even figured out how to make it loud enough to hear the movies!

Will be going to the house soon to bring outside plants, my milkcan to put the mailbox on. I gotta ask mac to use his huge 4wd p up,that will be interesting....

Well sauvey is barking at things in trees and these pretty ducks and geese that fly over, I am going out to weed this flower bed...

Hugs all, I am a walking zombie but I am happy! It is most wonderful having my loving son be so good to me, He is finally accepting I am old and need some help fro him.,,.priceless. Rain will be up soon with my sprout!

Thank you so much for the post, I needed your example of Peace and calm in the storm.

I agree, there are a lot of assoholics out there. I am so grateful I have a program, I don't have to be one too.

Sounds like you're fitting in Deb!!  Go charm the guy with the dog problem and remember to take Sauvey with you.   Nothing like a face to face meeting to clear up any problem.   LOL.   ((((hugs)))) smile

Hi Debilyn:

I hope Mr. Dog Lover isn't your only close neighbor!  Perhaps he will soften a bit over time.

Oregon is beautiful!  I'm envious.  I've travelled through your state many times on my way to either Washington or Canada.  So much green.  CA has so much brown in some areas!

Aah, Debilyn.  I get a boost out of your posts.  My very young life was spent in the mountains with my beloved grandmother.  It was far away from civilization in West Virginia.  Very primitive,  No running water, no electricity, and we grew almost all of our food. Nature was my playground.  To some it would look like hardship, but as a child it nourished my soul. 

I am so happy you have this now.  Also, I love how you were able to not over personalize Mr. Grouchy!  Now, that is a talent. It reminds me of a post made somewhere on this board about the "pooping pigeons".   They are pigeons--that is just what they do--it actually has nothing to do with us  (in their minds). 

Debilyn, this origional mountain woman follows your posts.  You are a flicker of life lighting my way right now.  Hugs to you.
