I talk about my kids so often, and the people here on this site helped me keep my sanity when I was pregnant with my youngest, Conner.
With everything I have had to go through, not a day goes by that I do not thank God for my wonderful children. I am truly blessed to share in their lives, and I learn from them every single day. They give me reason to keep going and when my faith takes a beating, I just look at them and am reminded of my HP, in each and every one of them.
There is a song called Butterfly kisses, that brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it.
The line "With all that I've done wrong, I must've done something right." is so true, because I must have done something right in my life to deserve this bunch.
I've shared their pictures in the past, and I have updated the album. My little Conner is coming up on two in December, it has gone so fast.
So for anyone who is interested, here is my bunch.
I have never responded to anyone on this board before, I guess because I am very very new to al-anon and am far from being qualified to give my advice. However....I have been a Mom for 26 years and I think I am a little more qualified in this area. Jeannie, you have a beautiful family, the smiles on their faces speak more than words. I don't even know your children but seeing them actually put a smile on my face. You may feel that you are the luckiest woman in the world to have this "bunch" but I would bet that they feel equally as lucky to have you as their Mom. Keep up the good work.
omg jeannie how old are you??? You look like a kid yourself!!! Your kids are beautiful!! That was so much fun seeing all of you. They look so happy and loved.
you are such a good mom. pretty lady you are too!!
Thanks Jeannie for sharing your family pics, a great looking bunch I must stay. I can see why you're so proud, and I agree with Renae, the smiles show it all.
Thanks for putting things back in perspective for me as well, with all that we go through and put ourselves through, there's nothing more important than our kids...they are our past, present, and most importantly our future.
