Do what you can and leave the rest?

Give it to God. But somehow I don't think he can help me to get all my fence down to take to the cabin.

He has given me a little energy to do it. Though every joint in my body feels like it is out!Have my sons van, I need an escalator to get in and out! lol I am hopeless, and short, and have only one knee.

The uhaul is actually ready, the right one, and here in town! Wonders never seace.

direct tv gave me a $60 credit for that mess. uhaul gave me $50 for that mess. The phone co. messed up so bad they just wished I would go away.

Have ya ever been so tired ya honestly can barely talk or think? This is hard work to vent here! But I must! (c:0

I gotta dig up my very tall bamboo for the uhaul. I have moved him geez like 6 times!. I keep promising its the last time. He digs in with his toes then shakes his head as I dig him back up. I have to roll him. I know my son will freak when he finds out he is going again.

AND my 8 foot tall antique mirror is going too. sad story .Estersue my pet farm pig I lost after 10 years, got into the bunkhouse, knocked my fridge, and more over made a HUGE mess. She musta pushed the stove element, it started a book on fire then it was close to my mirror....cracked my over 100 year old mirror. was my great gmas. omg. i was horrified. thank goodness the barn did not burn down.It burned out.

Soooo this is that REAL mirror that is not longer made. I am putting it on this one wall  at the cabin and putting all my plants in front of it. Will put carefully some good fake ivy down the crack.

I guess this is ONE time it is a good thing my gma Ahart and mother are passed on! I believe in the resurrection.. so I still may be in trouble! yikes!

Can't ya see it now. Mirror gets passed on and on, and the story is, "yes our great great great aunt debilyn had a 1,000 pound pig named Estersue who started a fire in a bunkhouse that cracked this 3 hundred year old family mirror!"

If I didn't learn to mellow out from Al Anon I tell ya everything would be too big for me! wish my jeans were....

sigh,debilyn

Deb when you get through with those tasks all your jeans are going to be to big for you. See there is an upside.

Off the subject of your post but worth sharing. Deb do you know how the answer if anyone ever ask you...."How much do you weigh?".....Your answer should be ......"I don't know.....probably two or three times a week, why do you ask?"

You have a good weekend, don't work to hard, and remember....Rome wasn't built in a day !!

HUGS,
RLC

Debilyn,

I too have learned to let it all go, when I was re doing floors in the condo, I put all my books in a box and put them
on the balcony, it was in the middle of summer. No chance of rain right?? It never rains in Calif. in the summer. I had an old collection of Dr. Suess, and a book
my Dad gave me. It was a small book over 200 years old. Well, I woke up the next morning to rain during the nite. All the books were destroyed.

I dont question anymore why these things happen. Just adds more stress and we dont need that hanging around us.

Its no fun to move, I feel your pain.

Luv, Bettina

I'm glad you posted Debilyn. I check in once in awhile to see how you are doing.

A lot of hard times for sure. You always seem to find the positive though. It's very helpful to me.

I really love your idea about the mirror. You make the best of your situations and I admire that.
