Once again I see how true Let Go and Let God is. I needed to leave the chaos and unhappiness of my AH and my home. I had been thinking about it for afew years...made some inquiries and never followed through...Then I joined Al Anon and I just KNEW I had to go...and the perfect place appeared. There was a snow storm the day before I was supposed to move...and miraculously a man came to shovel out BOTH houses and the moving company called and said they had finished a job early and could move me THAT day. By 5PM i was in my new serene home.....
Now i've been trying to picture the life i want. I knew i wanted my extended family back in my life. I had been so ashamed and unhappy I withdrew from them.....Ireached out and then next day they each called...now they are coming from all ove the country for a birthday party at my new house.
Thank you Al Anon for reuniting me with my higher power...I missed him (her?)
Hi , thanks for your share, so glad you are doing what is going to make you happy. I too have noticed that i have withdrawn from family and friends due to living with this disease, my unhappiness and shame. I am slowly trying to build up thses relationships.

Your share is a great example of getting into the stream of life and not resisting. Another way of putting it is getting out of HP's way. Or Let Go, Let God.

It's a great feeling to let go and let God handle things because really he/she is the only one that can. And that's such a freeing, powerful feeling. Hang in there and CONGRATS to you!
