The meaning you give it..

Nothing has any meaning save the meaning you give it. This can change your entire experience of life. Repeat this quietly in your mind at any moment of stress or upset: Nothing has any meaning save the meaning I give it.

~Neale Donald Walsch~

(((((Christy)))))...I've always known that you've haunted my days from time to time
and this is proof of it.  I just now had that experience and watched how another
person was reacting to a situation we both are going thru.   I will copy your share
to my WP and make it more notice able and add it to the refrigerator right at eye
level where I can see it everytime I go visit the refer which has been more often
lately.  LOL    Mahalo to your angel/spirit form...did you take a piece of chocolate
bundt cake with you on the last visit?    (((((hugs)))))  smile

Thanks Christy

I always knew this to be true  intellectually,  however as with most brillant statements, I could not make it work for me.

Knowing this did not change my internal attitudes no matter how often I repeated it.    I had to work the steps, let go of a great deal of destructive tools , resentments, anger, false beliefs BEFORE I could Feel and Truly Know this to be true and to act accordingly.

Thanks Al Anon and HP

Oh man. Yup - this has been an area where my head and my heart just don't always agree. I'm still working on it - probably will be forever, but that's okay. Progress, not perfection.

Thank you.

I too struggled for a long time.  Reading Neale Donald Walsh's books helped me to understand much faster.
Like having a sponsor, it was much easier to understand with the guidance of his books ..

One of my favorite sayings is "It is what it is".  It allows everyone to determine "it" for themselves.
The amazing thing is, "it" will be a little different for everyone.  Depending on what baggage, humor or grief they bring to it.  "It" can even change personally day to day.  What makes us crazy one day we will blow off the next.  That is why it just is, until we can choose to name "it".

Along with Alanon NDW was a major eye opener for me.  Mentally and spiritually.
