Second item:

Lack of people to chair meetings. 

There has been a problem with current ops chairing, as well as several open slots in the meeting schedule.  Chair did send a message out to ops after last meeting, but got no responses.
A question was raised as to whether an op needs to be able to run scripts to chair.  Chair said no, we have ops who chair now that are unable to run the scripts.  They can either ask a member who is in the room to run the scripts for them, or if no one is able, open and close with the Serenity Prayer.  A member volunteered to step up and chair Monday night meetings.  Chair said she would have that member op'ed.  Another member volunteered to take Tuesday morning meetings.  Chair said she would get that member op'ed as well.
A member asked why ops usually have three topics for meetings, chair answered it is up to the individual meeting chairs as to number of topics.

Third item:

Vote on banning a member for being a room predator.

There have been several complaints that a member has been asking for phone numbers and private messaging new members in an inappropriate manner. 
A member asked if there was proof and if the person in quesion knew of the rules in the chatroom.  Chair explained that the alleged predator has been warned more than once by more than one person.  He was also warned for making sexually inappropriate jokes in chat. 
Another member asked if he was aware of his banning and of the consequences of his actions.  Chair said he had been notified. 
One member stated that the member in question has never done anything out of line to her.
Another member said the same, but she has heard from others that a certain member is causing problems.
An op said she had recieved complaints, came into chat posing as a newcomer, and was spoken to inappropriately by the person in quesion.  At that point, this op banned the person.
At this time a vote was taken as to whether or not the member in question should be banned for 30 days, and to have the topic revisited in the next business meeting.  The motion passed.

No new business.
