Wow, I just caught this story online on Yahoo today:

Check it out. It's very interesting reading about all the revisions and how the early writers of the Big Book really spent a lot of time working on the Big Book to make sure it was inclusive and relatable.

Yes, I just finished reading it myself.  It was very interesting. Never really
put that much thought into how this "Big Book" evolved...
