Al-Anon for my teens???

Is there anything online for my teens to let their voices be heard.  I can't get them to read any books, or go to meetings. They have had counciling when AH was in Serenity Lane for ReHab (waste of money)  The councilor said they were handling it all quite well in fact they handle it better than me.  They are on the computer alot so I thought maybe there was a place like this one that they could go to.   Thanks for your help

snodeb:  I don't know the answer, but great question.  I have a 14 and 10 year old, and have been reluctant to "force" them into alateen.

I think there is an alateen meeting on this site once a week they can go to.

Sno there is a huge benefit in introducing teens to the program whether it is Al-Anon
or Alateen which is a part of Al-Anon.  If they can sit still and listen and not distrub
the meeting there is literature they can read and hugs they can get from the
membership and the like.  One of my sponsees use to bring in his young children
to sit in the meeting while he attended to his own recovery and though they moved
around more than any other member they got love and healing benefit from the
membership.  Their mom was in and out of prisons and institutions while their dad
was in and out of meetings and they were able to be around a different perspective.
Yes we regard the importance of the face to face meetings to the elder membership
and at the same time we offer grace and compassion to anyone who has a problem
with a family members drinking and using.    (((((hugs))))) smile

That's a really good question. So I looked for myself (and my 12 y.o. daughter). Right above our Post Info it lists the tread that we're in:

Miracles In Progress 12 Step Recovery Forums -> Miracles In Progress 12 Step Recovery Forums -> Al-Anon Family Group -> Al-Anon for my teens???

Click the 2nd Miracles in Progress 12 Step...
And you can find the Teen Group Forum, it looks kinda like our forums here.
