parents worst nightmare :(

Got a call yesterday in the afternoon from a man telling me my daughter was in an accident and I needed to come right away. He said she was ok, cuts and bruises, just scared to death. Totally her fault, she's just 17 and driving for 7 months, and she is feeling horrible physically and emotionally. Thank God she was ok, and the other people were not seriously hurt but both cars were mangled beyond repair. Now she says she understands why I tell her to be careful and not tailgate and pay attention everytime she leaves the house. Today is a day I need to ask my higher power to carry my troubles and lift them off my shoulders, it is much to heavy for me to carry alone. Thanks for listening.

Oh I learned to ask my HP not to only carry my troubles and to also carry me lots
of times.  Often when I offered my trouble up without trying to take them back
I was still left with myself and nothing to do other than to be a magnet for more.

I've got those phone calls also and my Mom and Dad got them concerning me
too and my brothers and sister.   We weren't bad it was life on life's terms and
that means HP always.

My worse nightmare was marrying an addict and when that went south going on
to marry another later on.  All my nightmares (tons of them) went away when I
started getting and then practicing this program.

Keep coming back.  ((((hugs)))) smile

Try to concentrate on the miracle for which you must be thankful:  Your daughter is alive, not hurt too badly, and perhaps she HAS learned a lesson.

Best wishes,

Diva

Well the great news is your daughter is ok.  I also got that phone call one October night...I can relate to your feelings.

Our children will make mistakes along the way and we just have to be there to support, nurture and love them.

That was one of the worst nights of my life....just be grateful she is ok.  I know I am.

With Love,
Andrea

I too am so thankful she got out of this one, and learned something from it!

As far as HP, for me it is an everyday thing. I ask my HP to hang onto me tight as soon as I open my eyes in the morn.

Good for you for reminding her to NOT tailgate, I a continually pulling to the side to let he idiots go by.

Be ON all the time driving. Girls are the worst I swear. I am thankful my girl is 35! Those teen years, ouch.

Take a breath mom and remind  yourself,"Everything is ok, everything is ok."

love,debilyn
