Another really nice birthday again this year! I enjoyed so much being with my husband & traveling 60 miles to see a movie & get a good lunch @ Red Lobster yesterday!
When I got back on the computer this morning, I counted about 13 messages from my FB friends wishing me a happy birthday! I wish I had been able to read them yesterday but I couldn't because I was gone all day! It still touched me though of course.
Also, my mom, sis & niece called me from a garlic festival to wish me a great day on the way home from my nearly-perfect day! Even the weather was nice up here! We have no AC in our car so it was almost a miracle that I never got too hot!!!!!
God is really blessing me this year so far, too. I love to face the day some days even though they aren't all great, of course. I sometimes need to be reminded of just how much I am grateful for. I need a good dose of humility, too.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that I enjoyed a wonderful BBQ/ Picnic on Thursday--kinda like a birthday party for me too. It just turned out that way! My TOPS group & some of their families were there. There was so much good food & a lot of really good fruit & veggies!
If it just keeps getting better, I don't know what I am going to do!
Yes!!! a Beautiful Birthday for "Hoot Nanny!" Happy Birthday Kathleen.
I am hoping it was the Gilroy Garlic Festival, where a friend of mine is working a booth. She just does it for fun every year!!!! Completely irrelevant, but Garlic is king today! and you are the Queen!
