Blame it on Karilynn weekend is here!

(((Family)))),

Good morning! sun.gif  The 3rd annual: BLAME IT ON KARILYNN DAY is here.  Only this year I have decided to turn it into a weekend.  This has become an annual tradition.  I have upped the anty this time and turned into a weekend.  w00t.gif

For all of the newbies who think I have lost my mind... well I have. imslow.gif  Just hang in there with me.

Here's the deal: Everything that goes wrong today & tomorrow you get to BLAME IT ON ME!  Yep, you heard that right. You get to blame it on me.

Dishwasher blow up? Blame it on me.  Cat bring home a critter? (Piper would say WOOHOO! w00t.gif) Blame it on me.  In-laws driving you crazy?  Blame it on me.  Lousy weather?  Blame it on me.  Teenagers driving you insane? eyepopping.gif  You can blame it on me. (But when it comes to teenagers, I have no control! wink)  Forgot to take out the trash?  Pay the bills?  I can't do those things for you, but you can blame it on me.  Plants die?  Umm... I probably did have a hand in that.  I can kill a silk flower, trust me. flowerpot.gif  So definitely blame that on me.  Bad day at work?  Customers looking at you like you have two heads? blankstare.gif  Blame it on me.  A driving you nuts (so what else is new?) and lost your serenity? frustrated.gif  Guess what?  You get to blame it on me!

The point is this:

You get to dump your problems, lousy feelings and all the other stuff for this weekend and this weekend only.  It means I'm giving you a break.  It doesn't mean that you get to runaway from your problems or challenges as I prefer to say.  It means that when things go wrong you can blurt out: "Darn that Karilynn!  It's all her fault!"  As silly as it sounds, try it.  Feel free to use harsher language if you prefer.

Come Monday morning you'll be ready to face whatever life throws at you.  Life is too short to always be miserable and have negative feelings.  Like Chirsty says: "You get to start the day all over again."

So bring it on family.  I can take it!  I have very strong shoulders.  And you know what?  Come Monday morning I get to dump it too.  Some how, some way, the sun.gif always manages to come out.  So ENJOY your weekend.  Have fun.  Remember when you start getting that frustrated.gif feeling, you can say: "censored.gif Karilynn. It's all your fault!"  wink  Then you have to move on from it.  That's the only condition of this weekend.  You have to move on from it.

Smile family.  Nothing is your fault this weekend.  This weekend it's all mine.  Trust me, I'll be saying the Serenity Prayers lots.  I'll be fine.  You taught me well.  This is my way of paying it back. How many of you are going to do this?  I want to hear the stories.

Much love and blessings to you and your families.  HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND!

Live strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty clap.gifparty.gifrelax.gifsleep.gif

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Just what I needed, bought Zach a car he had it for 4 hours and the motor blew up....now it wasn't a cheap beater car it was a very nice car one that he wanted of course, tinted windows nice tires pretty sharp...

So Kari, why did you make me buy this car......you could have stopped me at any moment and said, Andrea what are you thinking however you did not you let me put a huge down payment down on this car and then the motor blew...why oh why did you let this happen to this boy....I know, Chuck told you to say " Andrea buy the boy that car!!!!"

Ok, not your fault, they are putting a brand new motor in it.

Kari why did you not tell Samantha that her boyfriend is a straight up 'xxxx' and she can do much much better?

This one is all yours.....you get the total blame....

Love ya,
Andrea

Wow... that is soooo refreshing....  I am just debating whether or not I should 'number' the items  that I will conveniently "blame" you for, or perhaps alphabetize them....

Hehe....  On second thought, maybe I will just forward it to my ex-AW, so she can (finally) have someone to blame for the (apparent fact) that I am an awful person, lol....

Have a great weekend

Karilynn,

Awesome!!!!

Not sure why you made something happen to stop the man I like to date from contacting me. After 3 months of enjoying his company and building a lovely friendship, why would you prevent him from continuing to cultivate that? It is so difficult to find someone that is a good fit, and these other men just aren't engaging, or have very different life goals... just wondering if it is your fault this weekend, are you having a correctional weekend that I can pencil in for next weekend?

Also, it was quite unfair of you to delay my court date yet another month, as my exHA's lawyer needs more time to prepare. This has been ongoing since 2006.... more time to prepare?? really???

Love the idea of forwarding to the exHA!

My horse has an abscess on his foot and the farrier didn't make it out yesterday to help relieve his discomfort... please- these animals should not be included in ugly mixes of things that go wrong! Going to soak his foot again this morning and hope the farrier does stop by today.

Thank you Karilynn! Very good of you to take it on!!!

Hugs,
Bud

Hmmmmm....Karilynn I am trying; I am really trying to think of some things I can blame on you.  I think I can come up with one or three, so here goes:

1.  It is your fault I have not yet moved to Hawaii.
2.  It is your fault that I had my hair trimmed.
3.  It is your fault that I haven't the will to tell him, once and for all, "f*** off!"

If I think of anything else for which I can blame you, I'll be back.  Meantime, have your sweet self a good day, and give Pipers kitty a stroke for me.

Love you, Diva

LOL Karilynn!! This is BRILLIANT! As much as I could blame on you (or anyone else, for that matter), I somehow don't feel the need to. Go figure. Guess that's acceptance for ya. What a gift!

Thanks for the giggle and enjoy being creatively dumped on this weekend!

love ya,

bg

Sister I am blaming you for the horrible red  thai curry meal I just had, my son coming off his motorbike and grazing his foot, a sore throat that has been coming on all day, and? for my going into chat this morning when I felt I wanted to end my marriage, and someone asking me to read the big book, I am blaming you mostly though for thinking of a brilliant way to make a very serious point, and alllowing me to practice handing it over, I think I might introduce a blame day in my household, for each of us, not all the same day of course lol but you knew that.

Karilynn,

Nothing new here for me.

I've been blaming everything that went wrong in my life on you for the past couple of years. I'm not going to tell you where I got the idea but it has been working out great for me.

AH, I'll let the "cat" out of the bag, Pipers told me to do it !!

Pipers gave me 365 days a year to blame everything on you, and you give me only 2 days.......that's a no brain-er.......I'll continue to go with Pipers plan.

HUGS,
RLC

Karilynn, I'm blaming YOU for all the chocolate I ate this evening and all that I am about to eat just now. Am blaming you for getting invited to XXXXXXX functions that no sane person would want to go to. I got out of them. I am giving myself credit for that. Thanks for this. I needed it and what a super idea.

Godddddd!  where in the heck were you 20 years ago when I needed you?  Geeeez
Louise (Not you Abby...sorry) I had lotsa stuff you could have taken responsibility
for and I coulda gone out and created more stuff to blame on you rather than
straighten out my life.   Now that I don't need you I don't need you.  Ohhhh but
you're sooo needing a (((((hug))))).   You found your old Supergirl costume huh?
The one with the blue shirt and the red "S" on it?  Does it still fit? or are you gonna
try this one without the costume?   L O L...  (((((biggrin)))))

Oh, I so wish it was that easy. I have taken to reevaluating what I am responsible for and although a painful process, I am growing.
At the end of the day, it is nice to have a place to dump things that I still am struggling with.
It's all on you, the good thing is..... there is little I can give you.
I am changing the things I can, accepting the things I can't, and gaining the knowledge to know the difference.

I wouldn't blame what happened this weekend on you....

Maybe when some lighter stuff comes around.  Can I get a rain check?

((((Cujo)))),

Of course you can get a raincheck.  Just give me a heads up so I don't have a blame on you the same weekend.

Love strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty smile
