It's Really Sad/Interesting...

When someone describes their A (whether it be a drunk or dry drunk) how much a like they all are....

When I read the majority of these post I see my A in almost every one of them, it amazes me = /

Deana,

The short answer: The disease effects all alcoholics differently....yet they are all the same.

HUGS,
RLC

P.S. There is one solution: I have always said that alcohol distributors should have to label the bottom of each bottle or can telling the alcoholic exactly what drinking the contents will cause....make them drive their car fast.... cause them to get a DUI....make them think they can sing.....cause them to be put in jail.....make them agrue with their spouse....make them better looking....get in a fight.... go to sleep....lose their job....or stay out all night. LOL....but the truth is............the contents can cause all this and more to happen.

I totally agree - that's what drew me in when I first found this site.  It's amazing to me that there are so many similarities between my situation and what everyone else is going through.  It does make me feel better that I'm not alone, even though it is sad that we are all going through this in the first place.  I'm happy to be here....

RLC,

I don't think labeling bottles and cans would make any difference. Unfortunately. But it is a good thought.
