TO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS: I WANT TO TELL YOU ALL WHAT KIND OF SURGERY I AM HAVING SO IT WON'T LEAD TO MORE SPECULATION! I AM POSSIBLY GOING TO HAVE BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY SOON! IT HAS BEEN VERY HARD TO EXPLAIN THIS TO OTHERS BECAUSE IT IS A VERY DELICATE ISSUE FOR ME!
BUT I WILL SOLDIER ON TO THE CONSULTATION NEXT WEEK & HOPE THAT THE DOC IS WITH ME ON THE NEED FOR IT! I DON'T SEE HOW HE WOULDN'T DO IT WITH THE NOTION THAT I AM SUFFERING! LONG STORY! I HOPE THAT NO ONE READS THIS THAT IS INSENSITIVE TO CAPITAL LETTERS STATING HOW STRONG I FEEL ABOUT THIS ISSUE.
MORE WILL BE REVEALED AS I GO THROUGH THE PROCESS. I HAVE TOLD OTHERS ABOUT THIS BUT ONLY MY MOM IN MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY KNOWS--NOW YOU ALL. IT IS SCARY BUT I NEED SOME COMFORT. WHO KNOWS? I MAY BE DISAPPOINTED BUT I WILL TAKE IT AS IT COMES--ODAT!

And if you do get plastic surgery to feel better about yourself, so what!!?? Good for you for seeking what you want and hopefully, the Dr. will agree with you about the pain of big boobies. And additionally, I know you will look fabulous!!!

I'm glad that you are seeking a solution to end your suffering - being in physical pain is no good! Good luck on your surgery, and I hope you'll be feeling better really soon. I've contemplated having the procedure as well, honestly. :)
I am proud of you. Just putting it out there and saying it was a moment of real honesty and took a lot od strength and trust.
You are doing what you need to improve your quality of life and just like the others said if that wasn't the reason so what! You arent' the first person to have this procedure and you won't be the last.
As one big busted girl to another, I feel you. Everytime I get comments on the size of my chest I tell whoever (male or female ) that I would gladly give them what I have because they have no idea what it feels like to carry these damn things around. And for other reasons I really just don't like them.
Do what you need to do for you and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. We love you just the way you are and the surgery sure isn't going to change that.

I have a friend who has had that surgery and is so glad she did. She suffered all sorts of aches & pains. Recovery is about taking back your life and living the life you so richly deserve. GO FOR IT GIRL!
Like Mandy, I feel for you too. I worked 14 hours yesterday and carrying those things around in a sling is not exactly comfortable, no matter how good a bra you have. (Sorry guys.) The only advantage is when it comes to having a mamogram. More to work with.
I'm proud of you for such honesty. That's hard. Proof positive you are getting better. Sending you all the love and blessings to you and your kitty. We've got your back.

You've got my support, Kathleen! I've had similar thoughts at times. I send my wishes that you get the answers and results that are for the greatest good. My aunt had a reduction done for physical reasons and it helped alot with pain. She is able to enjoy quite a few things in life that were difficult before. Keep taking care of you!
Mandy, Karilynn ... you two crack me up. I do have to say ... as long as we are putting it out there, feeling like I have my own portable shelf gets annoying at times. And some day I would love to sit up close to a table without feeling like I am taking a break.
