Prayers for our MIP family members in the Gulf

As I listened to the sad news last night that the top kill method failed to stop the oil leak I couldn't help thinking about our MIP family members who live in that area.  There are several that will be directly affected by this disaster,  not to mention the ones who have yet to find their way here.  Some have already survived Katrina, Gustav, you name it.  They still need our prayers.

Please keep all those affected by this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers. There is no telling what the long term impact will be.  The economic impact, the impact on the wildlife, the emotional impact of all of this.  Let us hope & pray they find a solution that works.  Keep the workers in your prayers too.  They're gonna need it.   Thank you.

The other storms were "Rita & Ike" ~ those are the ones most people forget~well unless you lived thru them - :)

Right now in our area, SW Louisiana - one of our greatest fears is Now that it is Hurricane Season - What will happen if a Hurricane hits and BRINGS ALL THAT OIL deep in our coast lands.

The Tidal Surge from the 4 Hurricanes that we had, Katrina, Rita, Gustav, & Ike - was devastating - we can only imagine what it would should it be a Tidal Surge filled with gallons upon gallons of OIL.

But regardless of what the news media, government and anyone else thinks - I keep reminding myself - GOD is in control - not the President, not BP officials and not even that Oil leak - RIGHT?
