The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
Online meetings would be ideal for me (do plan on going F2F since I really need it).. I don't get it though?!?!? Do you post what is bothering you and your done? Is there any feedback?
Just looking for some guidance as to how it works = )

Hopless, The meetings here are really great and in my opinion ran really close to a f2f meeting.
There is a chair person and when the meeting starts there are scripts (the opening of the meeting) that are ran in the room for all to see. Then the chair announces the topics for the meeting and the chair might open with his/her own share or open the floor. To get in the share queue you raise your hand by sending a ! into the room. Then the chair calls on you when it is your turn.
You are welcomed to the floor and most everyone in the room would say some sort of greeting to you and then you share. There isn't supposed to be crosstalk (other people typing in the room when you are sharing) and when you are done with your share you type "done" and send it to the room.
Then the room usually sends some sort of thank you for sharing or maybe a little esh on your share.
Enjoy your meeting :)
Yours in recovery, Mandy
