I have come to this board and have written a couple of posts since finding my AH drunk after being sober for nearly 5 months.  I appreciate the replies, the knowledge, the wisdom and getting to the core of me and my unhealthy ways that have developed from living with him.  Thank you, thank you. I am reading books, reading the message boards and learning to detach and take care of myself. I was so distressed and depressed and I feel the life force coming back thanks to all of you!

way to go!!!! Its not easy detatching....but once you have got the hang of it, with a little practise, taking care of you becomes second nature and you will reap the benefits.  go easy on yourself, take one day at a time, and recover at your own pace.  hugs for coming this far.

This is a great place, isn't it? I was feeling so crazy when I found this place. The people here shared their ESH along with their love and support to help me find my sanity again. Glad you're here too. Keep coming back! (((WoA)))

I am always looking for people to relate to and to speak truth to me!!! I am just starting my journey as well, so I don't have much to offer - but I am thankful that you are here!
