It has been awhile since I have had the time to post and even this morning I don't have a whole lot of time. I have been working more and then with the 4 kids I find I have very little time for myself. I am however taking this weekend off. Hubby is still doing good with his sobriety. Things are slowly improving between us, his attitude and all is improving. Of course he still has days when he seems irritated and those are the days when I find myself worrying most. I try not to focus on it to much though(a very hard thing for me to do). He is still working out of town during the week and making good money. Finally starting to get out of this financial hole we have been in. I think that has helped him along the way too in helping him feel good about himself. We had our 5th wedding anniversary last wed. he was working out of town then I ended up working all weekend so we have yet to be able to celebrate, which is the main reason I am taking this weekend off. I went and got him his own cell phone so we can talk more when he is out of town. He has been having to borrow his boss' phone so it was limited as to when/how long we were able to talk. His boss can be a real jerk about that sort of thing, so now that is one less thing to worry about. Well I wish I had more time but it is starting to get late and I still need to get breakfast for the kids and get ready for work. Hope you all have a wonderful peaceful day!

I know how that goes with the financial drain of an alcoholic. Good luck on your efforts to clean that up. About 4 years of heavy drinking took it's toll on our finances too. Even now, we aren't yet "there", and I really don't know when it will happen.
Enjoy your time apart to reconnect with yourself. All that focus on his recovery can leave you empty, so fill it up with good thoughts and with healthy ideas.
